Michael Bibi raises over €56,000 for charity following surprise Ibiza show
Michael Bibi has raised over €56,000 for a cancer charity after performing a surprise set at Beachouse Ibiza last week.
Bibi performed to an intimate crowd at the beachside location, collecting donations on the door for Asociación Pitiusa de Ayuda a Afectados de Cáncer, which provides support for those with cancer in Ibiza and Formentera.
In total, the performance raised a huge €56,021 for charity, which was donated by Bibi last week. “I’ve always had a thing for last-minute shows in Ibiza,” he explains.

“There’s something special about the chaos and spontaneity of it all. But this time, instead of an after-party, I wanted to channel that energy into something with meaning. Playing at Beachouse for the first time, with the sea just a few feet away and the energy of the crowd, reminded me why I fell in love with this scene in the first place – the community and connection.”
“Last night was one of those moments where you could really feel that unity,” he said. “We’ve all faced our own challenges, and if we can turn that into something that supports others, then that’s what it’s all about.”

In June 2023, Bibi revealed that he had been diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma, a rare cancer that affects the spine and brain. He was subsequently hospitalised, and underwent treatment before being given the all-clear months later in December.
Since then, Bibi has hosted several charity events, including his annual One Life festival, which took place for the first time in 2024 at Finsbury Park, and raised over £120,000 for Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
