New location-based digital project, Everything Is ADE, launches in Amsterdam on Wednesday

The project runs from 19-23 October as part of Amsterdam Dance Event.

We’re excited to announce Everything is ADE, the next iteration of Everything is Music. The digital project allows those attending the Amsterdam festival to explore a curated selection of musical stories. This includes unlocking location-specific stories and digital artefacts from ADE as well as content created by key artists peforming across the five-day event. The Everything is ADE project is a collaboration between Everything is Music – a community interest company curated by Crack Magazine and powered by geo-location specialists Landmrk – and ADE festival.

Participants can access the interactive map via everythingismusic.io which will then take them to the featured locations across central Amsterdam. Featured artists include Floating Points, Shermanology, Alberta Balsam and rising Dutch techno DJ Amoral. Plus there’s an ADE archive conversation with Nile Rodger, a guided tour of Amsterdam DJ Shinedoe’s favourite spots in the city and Suze Ijó speaks about the importance of vinyl and house music in the Netherlands.

Speaking on the project, ADE said: We’re always aiming to enhance and extend the ADE experience beyond regular expectations, so teaming up with Everything Is Music for this project and allowing ADE’s visitors to combine their trips through the city with this treasure map of unique audiovisual content is a very exciting addition. Likewise, the AR based project is a great showcase of how innovative developments show future opportunities in media consumption, something ADE extensively discusses in our conference as well.”

Everything is ADE is funded by Bristol+Bath Creative R+D Here + There fund. You can find out more about Everything is Music here or in person at the Fosbury & Sons building during the conference at ADE. If you are at ADE and would like a demonstration, please e-mail [email protected].
