Josh Baker mints new label Baker’s Dozen with Omar+ collab ‘Back It Up’

Josh Baker has launched a label called Baker’s Dozen, with the debut release out now.

The first single is a collaboration between Josh Baker and Omar+ titled ‘Back It Up’, which went viral on TikTok last year.

“Kicking off my 2025 releases with a bang—welcoming the birth of my new label. It’s time for Back It Up,” says Josh Baker.

“My friend Bianca, who did the vocals for some of Josh’s tunes, invited me to his show in London. It was an insane set, and I got to meet Josh afterward. The next day, I sent him some music, which he liked—Back It Up stood out to him, and he asked me to send him the stems. He reproduced the beat, keeping some of my synths in, and within 24 hours, we had a banger. After that, I started seeing videos everywhere of Josh playing our tune and the crowd loving it—definitely a surreal feeling,” says Omar+.
