After closing the influential chapter of Involve Records, Regal returns with a brand new single titled ‘Avalanche’ – a powerful statement marking the launch of his brand-new imprint Backspin Records. Regal sets the tone for the label’s vision with this inaugural release: a bold revival and reimagining of early 2000s Hardgroove Techno.

Avalanche is a high-impact club weapon, steeped in the groove-heavy DNA of techno’s golden era. Pounding rhythms, rolling basslines, and crisp Latin-infused percussion lock into a hypnotic loop, while Regal masterfully layers tension and release with sharp stabs and vocal fragments.
