The Hydra announces line-up for last ever event at Drumsheds
The line-up has been revealed for the last ever event at London venue The Drumsheds.
The ‘NOT TO BE’ event, taking place this Saturday, 29th January and organised by promoter The Hydra, will see a number of dance music’s biggest names playing together to see off the venue. Running from midday until 10.30pm, there will be b2b sets from Ben UFO and Joy Orbison; Four Tet and Floating Points; Carl Craig and Moodymann; OK Williams and Gabrielle Kwarteng; John Talabot and Violet; Mafalda and Zakia; and more. Jon Hopkins will also DJ solo.
The event follows the corresponding ‘TO BE’ event, which took place at The Drumsheds last month, and included sets from Nina Kraviz, Paula Temple, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock and more.
Tickets for this weekend’s parties are available here.
The Drumsheds, run by London promoter Broadwick Live, who are also behind Printworks, opened in 2019 and staged that year’s edition of Field Day. The space formed part of a huge £6 billion redevelopment of the area, Meridian Water, and comprised four massive, interlinked warehouses and ten acres of outdoor space, bringing overall potential capacity to around 40,000 for large-scale one-off events. It was revealed that the venue was closing earlier this month.
