Warp Records to take over the Barbican Centre this summer

Warp Records is set to take over the Barbican Centre this summer, for a one-off event featuring exhibitions, screenings, performance and live premieres.

A WARP HAPPENING will occupy various spaces within the brutalist art complex on June 14, featuring performances from label affiliates such as Evian Christ, Battles, Clarissa Connelly, kwes., Seefeel and more.

The event marks Warp Records’ first major London showcase in over a decade, A WARP HAPPENING will celebrate the storied imprint’s “reality-blurring creativity” and “continued explorations through sound and vision.”

Running for 12-hours, the event will culminate in a finale concert in the Barbican’s Main Hall featuring live performances from Warp artists.
