Strawberries & Creem festival has partnered with Pioneer DJ for a competition to discover the UK’s best new DJ talent.
The DJSUNLOCKED competition will see two DJs win the chance to play a paid set on one of the main stages at next month’s edition of Strawberries & Creem. The first prize also includes a selection of Pioneer DJ equipment, including a controller, headphones and monitors.
DJSUNLOCKED is hoping to is uncover “selectors who can think outside the box, draw on cross-genre influences, and bring a different flavour to their mix – whether they play hip-hop, house and techno, or drum & bass,” says a press release.
In order to enter, you need to submit a 10-minute mini-mix to the Strawberries & Creem website by 23rd August. 10 finalists will be selected by the Strawberries & Creem and Pioneer DJ judging panel, and two winners will be decided by a public vote that opens on 27th August.
