ChopTones Launches Dario Comuzzi Signature Pack for Amp Modellers
ChopTones has released the Dario Comuzzi Signature Pack, a new collection of tones created in collaboration with the Italian-born, Los Angeles-based guitarist and producer. The pack is available now for nearly every major guitar amp modeller, bringing Comuzzi’s signature sounds to players worldwide.
Comuzzi has built a career as a composer, music director, and guitarist working with artists such as Aidan Bissett, Benson Boone, Tori Kelly, Damiano David of Måneskin, and Andre Cymone. His credits also extend into television, with guitar and compositions featured on shows like Botched, Undercover Boss, and Wicked Tuna. Known for balancing technical precision with expressive playing, his style made him a natural fit for ChopTones’ next signature series.
Built Around Boutique Amps
The Signature Pack was created using three boutique amplifiers: the Bogner Ecstasy 101B, Bogner Shiva EL34, and Two Rock Bi-Onyx, paired with iconic speaker cabinets and a curated selection of microphones. Everything was tracked through Neve 1073 preamps, giving the tones added warmth and clarity.
The result is a collection that spans from shimmering cleans to saturated high-gain leads, covering the full range of Comuzzi’s performance palette. ChopTones engineered 48 different device-specific versions, making the pack accessible for players on platforms like Fractal Audio Axe-Fx, Kemper, IK Multimedia TONEX, Fender, Headrush, and more.
Pricing and Availability
The Dario Comuzzi Signature Pack is available now at an introductory price of €49.90 / $58.99, with the price increasing later to €69.90 / $81.99. Each version is tailored to its respective device, ensuring users get plug-and-play compatibility along with the tonal detail expected from ChopTones.
For guitarists, producers, and session players, the release provides access to a library of tones shaped directly by Comuzzi’s touring and studio work. It’s a pack designed to work across rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performance, extending the reach of a guitarist who continues to leave his mark on both stage and screen.
