EXIT and P+US to Debut Starlight Festival at the Pyramids of Giza
The globally acclaimed EXIT Festival is set to expand its footprint this October with the launch of Starlight Festival, a brand-new, multi-day concept hosted at the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza. Running from October 8th to 11th, the event is a collaborative effort between the festival organizers and the electronic music platform P+US, in partnership with Venture Lifestyle.
A World-Class Lineup in an Ancient Setting
The festival promises an unparalleled musical experience, featuring a stellar lineup of international talent. Leading the charge is Charlotte de Witte, who will perform in Egypt for the first time. She will be joined by Michael Bibi, making his debut at the pyramids, and the melodic techno duo Adriatique, who return to the site following their previous record-breaking performance for nearly 10,000 fans. The bill also includes heavyweights such as Vintage Culture, Pete Tong, WhoMadeWho, and Enrico Sangiuliano, alongside a diverse array of regional and international artists.
Cultural Heritage Meets Modern Innovation
Starlight Festival is designed to harmonize modern electronic music with the profound history of the Giza plateau. While the main festival nights on October 9 and 10 will take place near the pyramids, the event will also feature opening and closing celebrations across various locations in Cairo. Beyond the music, attendees can expect cutting-edge technology, including an advanced VR experience originally showcased at Expo Dubai.
It is a great honour to be invited to bring the premium festival concept near one of the grandest monuments in human history. EXIT has always been known for combining world-class entertainment with a strong social mission, which in this case will be dedicated to celebrating Egypt’s extraordinary cultural heritage to a global audience. — Dušan Kovačević, Founder and CEO of EXIT Festival
Economic and Cultural Impact
The collaboration between EXIT and Venture Lifestyle (VLS) aims to set a new benchmark for music tourism in the MENA region. Rabih Mokbel, CEO of Venture Lifestyle, noted that the partnership is expected to contribute significantly to Egypt’s tourism economy while fostering long-term cultural exchange between Europe and the Middle East. As a company with a proven track record of delivering large-scale experiences—including the notable Anyma project—Venture Lifestyle is well-positioned to elevate this event to a global scale.
Tickets for the inaugural Starlight Festival are currently available via the official event website.
