Desert Hearts Reveal Intimate New Microfest
Desert Hearts have revealed the lineup for Microfest, an intimate new boutique festival experience taking place at Deloro Valley in Northern California on October 1-5. This highly anticipated event marks a return to the close-knit dancefloors and community-first spirit that defined the collective’s earliest gatherings, offering a unique Desert Hearts Microfest experience for dedicated fans.
Microfest will bring together more than 30 artists from across the house and techno spectrum. Detroit pioneers DJ Minx and Stacey Pullen join longtime scene leaders including Doc Martin, Danny Daze, and Justin Martin. The bill is further bolstered by DJ Holographic, Kevin Knapp, SHADED performing live, and Toy Tonics selectors Barbara Boeing and Cody Currie.
The lineup also highlights the core Desert Hearts family, with Mikey Lion, Marbs, Lee Reynolds, and Porky set to appear throughout the weekend. Reflecting on the curation, Mikey Lion and Marbs shared, “We’re ridiculously proud to share the lineup we curated for Desert Hearts Microfest. Since Microfest is such an intimate gathering, we wanted every artist on this lineup to feel intentional. The result is a lineup that feels forward-thinking, deeply rooted, and made for the Desert Hearts community.”
The announcement arrives alongside “A Place For Us,” the latest single from Mikey Lion and Marbs under their newly unified artist project. Set across the 132-acre Deloro Valley summer camp and retreat in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Microfest offers a more intimate way to experience the Desert Hearts world. By day, attendees can cool down by the pool or explore the property, while at night, the focus shifts to underground house and techno presented through a state-of-the-art Void Acoustics sound system.
While Desert Hearts has always approached its flagship gatherings as boutique festivals, Microfest narrows the focus further, prioritizing intimacy and connection in a new natural setting. Tickets are extremely limited, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots early.
