Jamie Jones shares remix of Soft Cell’s ‘Tainted Love’: Listen

Jamie Jones has remixed Soft Cell’s ’81 version of ‘Tainted Love’.

After countless unofficial versions and edits of the ’80s synth-pop hit, the Hot Creations label boss has stepped up with an official remix of ‘Tainted Love’, which is out today via Positiva Records.

Marking 40 years since the release of the Soft Cell version, Jones adds a grumbling bassline, stuttered vocal chops and tweaks synths into obscurity, flipping the classic into a club-ready single.
