We’re screening three new music documentaries with Norient Film Festival
Supporters can watch for free until Sunday night.
We’ve teamed up with Norient Film Festival to screen three brand new music documentaries exclusively for Crack Supporters.
Our mini film fest includes A Punk Daydream, an intimate portrait of a community of Indonesian street punks who find solidarity with the tattooed Dayak tribe, as seen through the lens of directors Jimmy Hendrickx and Kristian Van der Heyden.
Also showing is Cumbia Around the World, a musical road movie from director Pablo Ignacio Coronel, who travels from Colombia, Peru and Argentina on to Portugal, Vietnam and Japan to discover how the sound of cumbia transcends social, spatial and generational divides.
And don’t miss Flight of the Giant Swan, a 27-minute blast of livewire techno-punk from Bristol duo Giant Swan, captured in full-flow on tour in 2019.
All three are available to watch from now until Sunday night, January 16. Head to the Supporters hub to log in or become a Supporter now to access these and more screenings, talks, digital issues and exclusives.
The docs are part of this year’s Norient Film Festival, now in its eleventh year, which specialises in documentaries, short films and experimental works about all aspects of contemporary music.
